The Cabin House was rebuilt from the ground up in 2024, drawing on mid-century and Japanese architecture. It is made of reclaimed oak, stone, and brick, and organized around light: floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors open the main room to the giant boulders that surround it.
A stone gas fireplace anchors the living room. The kitchen is small but serious, built around a Thermador range and stocked like the hacienda’s. Starlink covers the property. New this year, a small pool and hot tub sit just off the deck, with an outdoor dining table beside them for dinners under the sky.
Both bedrooms are made for deep sleep. Heavenly mattresses, down pillows, soft percale, blackout shades. The bathroom shower is high pressure, with Le Labo on the shelf. Guests describe the house with the same three words: quiet, calm, considered.
